The full King James Bible, all 31,102 verses, free to read and free to search. Open any verse and you get the Hebrew or Greek word by word, Strong's numbers already filled in, commentary from 72 shelves, cross-references, and what the early church fathers wrote about it. I built this because I believe the Bible should be easy to study and free to everyone.
The KJV corpus lives in dave_bible.db inside davar_http.exe, searches and cross-references run at native speed without a third-party Bible API. Dave can reason over the text when you ask; he cites Scripture and flags limits on the How It Works page. For the broader apologetics posture, five domains, hard questions, creation and history, see the Apologetics lane above. New here? /start-here orients the whole site.
Hebrew and Greek, word by word, with Strong's shown inline (no JS hover)
395,969 verse-to-verse cross-references drawn from the DAVAR native Bible engine — every verse an open door to the wider canon.
5,741 Greek entries + Thayer's Lexicon. Look up any Strong's number (G2316 = God, G3056 = Logos) or enter the English word.
Search the KJV Bible (keyword, verse, or theme) — or ask an apologetics question and Dave answers from the full canon.
43 early Christian writers, including Augustine, Chrysostom, Tertullian, Jerome and Ambrose, are staged in full from the ANF/NPNF collections and matched to individual verses by parsing their own citation style (“John iii. 16”) rather than by keyword search. 38.6% of verses have a confirmed match, 12,013 of the 31,102; the rest show nothing, on purpose, rather than a father's name under a passage he wrote about something else.
Apologetics is love with a spine, a real answer rooted in text, history, and creation when someone asks a hard question. The goal is not to win debates but to open doors. Teaching and sermon notes live in the Sermons lane; project updates in the Blog.
