Give to the Ministry

Scripture: Matthew 10:8. Your gift pays for the machines this runs on. That is a server here at the house that serves the website, the compute Dave uses every time he answers someone, and a small rented server that handles the ministry email. It also pays for the ongoing work on Sanctum and on the Bible study tools.

I want to be specific about that rather than vague, because you deserve to know where your money actually goes. There is no marketing budget and no staff. It is me building this, and your giving is what keeps the free parts free. Greek: ἀσθενοῦντας θεραπεύετε, ⸂νεκροὺς ἐγείρετε⸃, λεπροὺς καθαρίζετε, δαιμόνια ἐκβάλλετε· δωρεὰν ἐλάβετε, δωρεὰν δότε.

Giving supports the work. It does not buy standing, priority, or special treatment, either from me or before God, and it is not how you join THE THRESHOLD.

I am careful about this because I have seen ministries where the people who gave the most were treated the best. Scripture does not read differently for someone who gave more, and it will not here either.

The Give page at /giving sends you to a Stripe checkout page. You can pay with a card, with Link, with a bank transfer, or with Amazon Pay. Stripe handles the payment itself, so I never see or store your card number, and I will never ask you to type card details into a form I built.

You can give once or set up a monthly gift, and you can cancel a monthly gift whenever you want. How refunds, cancellations, and recurring gifts work is written out at /donation-policy, and the legal pages are /privacy-policy and /terms. If something goes wrong with a payment, email [email protected] and I will sort it out.

Gifts to Dancz Ministries are not tax deductible. Dancz Ministries is a single member LLC in South Carolina and it is not a 501(c)(3), so I cannot issue you a charitable donation letter and I am not going to imply otherwise. If that ever changes I will say so here in writing.

Stripe will email you a payment receipt for your own records. I would rather you know all of this before you give than find out in April. The full policy is at /donation-policy.

One time and monthly gifts cover the compute Dave uses, the electricity and upkeep on the server, the domain and email, and the hours that go into testing the app before anyone else has to use it.

A small monthly gift helps more than a large one time gift, because the bills come every month. If you can only give once, that helps too. If you cannot give anything right now, please just use the site. Keeping it free for you is most of the reason I built it this way.
